Lenore Care is a family-run care home group across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham and North Yorkshire. In particular, our homes are Arden House in Pickering, Birch Hill in Norham, Carntyne in Hexham, Kendal House in Whitley Bay and Melbury House in Seaham.
Each of our care homes provides personalised residential care, dementia care, respite care and convalescent care in a warm, welcoming and home-like environment. So we focus on helping every resident feel safe, comfortable, respected and part of a close-knit community.
As a small, family-run care provider, we believe that high-quality care should always feel personal. Because of this, our smaller care homes allow our experienced teams to get to know each resident as an individual, including their routines, preferences, interests and care needs.

Specialist staff are based on-site at some of our locations, and we also arrange external visits for support such as GP appointments and physiotherapy.

For younger adults, we provide personalised care focused on individual needs, supporting independence and wellbeing.
